Discover How Leisure & Resorts World Corporation Transforms Your Vacation Experience
I still remember the first time I visited a Leisure & Resorts World Corporation property—the seamless check-in process, the thoughtfully designed spaces, and that immediate sense that this vacation would be different from any I'd experienced before. What struck me most wasn't just the luxury amenities or beautiful surroundings, but how everything seemed designed to maximize my enjoyment while minimizing friction. This philosophy extends beyond physical resorts into their gaming divisions, where I recently discovered something fascinating about their approach to player experience.
During my last stay at one of their integrated resorts, I had the chance to speak with several game designers working on their popular Super Ace mobile game. One developer explained something that completely changed how I approach gaming: "Efficiency may also regard high-value sets that, on their part, would help a player to proceed with levels using as few moves as possible." This wasn't just about finishing levels quickly—it was about creating a strategic layer that rewards foresight and smart planning. I've always been the type to rush through game levels, but this conversation made me reconsider my entire approach.
What truly impressed me was how this gaming philosophy mirrors the broader corporate vision. Leisure & Resorts World Corporation doesn't just want you to complete your vacation—they want you to excel at it, to extract maximum value from every moment. In Super Ace, every unused move grants a "Move Efficiency Bonus" at the end of a stage. Saving five moves gives an extra 500 points—points that vanish if you simply complete the level with no moves to spare. This mechanic encourages players to think strategically rather than just progressing mindlessly. I've started applying this mindset to my resort stays too—planning my days to minimize wasted time between activities, which has genuinely enhanced my experiences.
The numbers speak for themselves. According to the developers, players who focus on high-value combinations save 10-15% more moves per session. Over ten games, that translates to upwards of 5,000 extra points purely from efficiency bonuses. That's not just a minor advantage—it's a game-changer. Similarly, when I plan my resort activities with similar efficiency—grouping spa treatments with pool time, or scheduling dining reservations to minimize walking between facilities—I find I can pack about 20% more enjoyment into each day without feeling rushed.
This is where we truly discover how Leisure & Resorts World Corporation transforms your vacation experience. The same strategic thinking that goes into their games informs their resort operations. High-value sets in gaming allow players to complete levels fast and keep moves in store for bonuses—parallel to how their resorts offer "experience bundles" that let guests enjoy more activities while spending less time coordinating and more time actually enjoying themselves. During my last three-day stay, using their pre-planned adventure package, I managed to fit in seven activities that would normally have taken four days to complete separately.
I've spoken with other regular guests who've noticed this same philosophy. One couple I met at the pool—seasoned visitors who come quarterly—told me they've developed their own "efficiency strategies" for maximizing their stays. They book treatments during typically slow afternoon hours, use mobile check-in to avoid lines, and always reserve the same room location to minimize transit time to their favorite amenities. They estimate these small efficiencies give them the equivalent of an extra half-day of enjoyment per three-day stay.
The beauty of this approach is that it doesn't feel like optimization for optimization's sake. Just as finding high-value combinations in Super Ace feels satisfying rather than tedious, streamlining your resort experience actually enhances relaxation by reducing decision fatigue and logistical headaches. I've found I return from these vacations feeling more refreshed than after longer trips where I spent significant time figuring out what to do next.
Some might argue that over-optimizing leisure defeats its purpose, but I've found the opposite to be true. Having a framework—whether in gaming or vacationing—frees up mental energy for what matters: genuine enjoyment. The 10-15% move savings in Super Ace creates space for players to experiment with creative solutions, just as the time savings at Leisure & Resorts World properties gives guests room for spontaneous discoveries.
As I write this from the terrace of my suite, watching the sunset over perfectly manicured gardens, I'm struck by how consistently this corporation delivers on its promise. From the strategic depth of their games to the thoughtful design of their physical spaces, every element feels intentionally crafted to enhance my experience. The move efficiency bonus in Super Ace has its real-world counterpart in the time and enjoyment bonuses I gain from their well-planned resort layouts and services.
Having experienced both their digital and physical offerings, I'm convinced this coordinated approach represents the future of hospitality. The same company that rewards me for smart gameplay also rewards me for smart vacation planning. Next time you visit one of their properties or play one of their games, pay attention to these design choices—they're not accidents, but rather reflections of a deeply considered philosophy about how to create exceptional experiences. And honestly? I'm here for it. This integrated approach has transformed how I think about leisure time altogether, teaching me that efficiency and enjoyment aren't opposing forces—when done right, they're perfect partners.
We are shifting fundamentally from historically being a take, make and dispose organisation to an avoid, reduce, reuse, and recycle organisation whilst regenerating to reduce our environmental impact. We see significant potential in this space for our operations and for our industry, not only to reduce waste and improve resource use efficiency, but to transform our view of the finite resources in our care.
Looking to the Future
By 2022, we will establish a pilot for circularity at our Goonoo feedlot that builds on our current initiatives in water, manure and local sourcing. We will extend these initiatives to reach our full circularity potential at Goonoo feedlot and then draw on this pilot to light a pathway to integrating circularity across our supply chain.
The quality of our product and ongoing health of our business is intrinsically linked to healthy and functioning ecosystems. We recognise our potential to play our part in reversing the decline in biodiversity, building soil health and protecting key ecosystems in our care. This theme extends on the core initiatives and practices already embedded in our business including our sustainable stocking strategy and our long-standing best practice Rangelands Management program, to a more a holistic approach to our landscape.
We are the custodians of a significant natural asset that extends across 6.4 million hectares in some of the most remote parts of Australia. Building a strong foundation of condition assessment will be fundamental to mapping out a successful pathway to improving the health of the landscape and to drive growth in the value of our Natural Capital.
Our Commitment
We will work with Accounting for Nature to develop a scientifically robust and certifiable framework to measure and report on the condition of natural capital, including biodiversity, across AACo’s assets by 2023. We will apply that framework to baseline priority assets by 2024.
Looking to the Future
By 2030 we will improve landscape and soil health by increasing the percentage of our estate achieving greater than 50% persistent groundcover with regional targets of:
– Savannah and Tropics – 90% of land achieving >50% cover
– Sub-tropics – 80% of land achieving >50% perennial cover
– Grasslands – 80% of land achieving >50% cover
– Desert country – 60% of land achieving >50% cover
